About the GE FK339 Oil Circuit Breaker
The General Electric FK339 is an oil circuit breaker variant in the FK series used in distribution and subtransmission substations. It uses an intermediate contact assembly with style A and style B configurations, a moving contact rod, and an upper contact assembly to interrupt fault current in oil. The intermediate contact, moving contact rod, and upper contact assembly are the scheduled replacement items at overhaul. Southern Switch machines FK339 components to OEM dimensional specifications and supplies the complete kit.
