Infrared Thermography

An infrared thermography survey catches loose connections, overloaded conductors, and degrading equipment while they’re still cheap to fix. Detailed reports include emissivity, ambient, load, and severity classification for every anomaly.

What we test
  • Switchyard scan — transformers, bushings, breakers, disconnects
  • Indoor switchgear and bus survey under load
  • Energized bolted connection scan with severity rankingNFPA 70B — 11.17
  • Tank temperature distribution on power transformers
  • Documented anomaly list with priority and recommended action
  • Repeat / trend surveys over time
Standards we follow

NFPA 70B — 11.17 ยท IEC TS 62446 (PV systems)

Apparatus covered

Energized substations, switchyards, indoor switchgear, plant electrical distribution, motor control centers.

Reports you get

Every visit ends with a documented report: raw test data, calibrated instrument records, anomaly findings with severity ranking, photos, and a clear recommended-action list. Trends are tracked across visits.
